I know we’re all busy and that’s why I love putting together simple recipes that taste good and don’t take up too much time. This Paleo Pumpkin Spice Latte is quick to make, easy to clean up, and will bring back those fond memories of hitting up Starbucks for a soy PSL as the leaves started to change. Back when you lived in ignorant bliss of what a hit of that thing would do to your blood sugar and adrenals!
This PSL has a fat, protein and carbs to help the caffeine and sugar metabolize slowly, so it won’t leave you with a midday slump!
Ingredients:
1 packet of Tulsi & Astragalus adaptogen coffee by Foursigmatic (you could also use 1 Tbsp of roasted chicory root powder to make this AIP)
1 Tbsp organic pumpkin purée
1 Tbsp collagen peptides
1 Tbsp coconut butter
couple dashes of ground cinnamon
couple dashes of ground ginger one dash of nutmeg
one dash of all spice
14 oz warm water
1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (optional but I’ve made it without and a hint of sweet gives it that traditional PSL taste)
Method:
Throw it all in a blender for 30 seconds and pour into your favorite mug. Easy-peasy!
