This is my first recipe blog post in … years. Hard to believe what having a child can do for your blog life, am I right? I’m trying to get this on here quickly so you can add aip vegan ranch to your weekly recipe rotation! It’s creamy, delicious, AIP, vegan, and paleo-friendly ranch dressing. You’re gonna love it!
Is AIP vegan ranch healthy?
It is when you make it my way! I use cocojune coconut yogurt and dried herbs. It’s really simple and delicious! Most vegan ranches you find on the shelves at grocery stores are full of inflammatory industrial seed oils that can be harmful to your health, such as:
- Canola (rapeseed) oil
- Corn oil
- Cottonseed oil
- Grapeseed oil
- Peanut oil
- Rice bran oil
- Safflower oil
- Soybean oil
- Sunflower oil
While these oils can’t always be avoided on a day-to-day basis, it’s best to reserve them for times when you don’t have a ton of control over your food or you just need something easy. For daily consumption, we recommend avoiding these as best as possible because they can contribute to inflammation in the body.
What is AIP vegan ranch made out of?
Our AIP vegan ranch is made to be compliant with the autoimmune paleo diet, which means no dairy, soy, legumes, etc (read more about this diet for healing autoimmune disease here). We use anti-inflammatory herbs and spices to make this ranch dressing delicious and easy on your digestive system!
Where to buy vegan ranch?
You can buy vegan ranch at any local grocery store, but we don’t recommend it (see the above is vegan ranch healthy). As for autoimmune paleo ranch dressing, you virtually can’t buy it anywhere! The closest brand to being compliant is the primal kitchen ranch, but it contains eggs, which don’t fall into the elimination phase of AIP.
